Our Philosophy
1. Catholic
By incorporating Catholic teaching across all subjects, education should cultivate a strong sense of God’s reality in all aspects of life. "What profit is there for a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" — Mark 8:36
2. Purpose-Driven
The key to successful home education is defining your purpose. Without a clearly defined purpose, it would be impossible not to feel lost, overwhelmed, or discouraged. It is like driving a car without a destination. Determine "why" before deciding how and what to teach.
3. Individualized
Discover and work through your own uniqueness and the uniqueness of your child—personalities, strengths, learning styles, goals, and challenges. Define what is important and achievable. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." – Romans 8:28
4. Flexible
Flexibility provides the opportunity to make virtuous decisions. Flexibility to care for a sick family member. Flexibility to pursue a passion. Flexibility to pause and breathe God's presence. Flexibility to slow down, and embrace your family. Developing a strong home educational structure requires a balance between predictability and flexibility.
